Rivers, Ruins and the Göcek Islands
Head east from Marmaris along one of the most dramatic coastlines in Turkey. This route visits Kumlubük before pushing east to Ekincik and the reed-lined Dalyan Delta -- home to loggerhead turtles and Lycian rock tombs. You then sail into the island-filled Göcek archipelago, exploring the Göcek Islands, Tersane, Bedri Rahmi bay with its famous cliff paintings, and finishing at the secluded bay of Göbün before the return.

Continue east to the sheltered bay of Ekincik, gateway to the Dalyan River. Quiet anchorage, explore by dinghy in the evening.

Morning dinghy tour up the Dalyan River: Kaunos ruins, Lycian rock tombs, İztuzu Turtle Beach. Return to Ekincik for the night.

Sail east to Göcek town marina. Explore the charming harbour village. Dinner ashore.

Visit famous Bedri Rahmi Bay with its cliff-face rock paintings, then on to the secluded bay of Göbün for the night.

Final sail back to Adaköy. Check-out in the afternoon. Friday night aboard available.

Practical tips
Dalyan river trip: book local flat-bottomed boats through Ekincik operators. İztuzu Beach closes to visitors after 8 pm in turtle nesting season (May to Sep). Göcek marina is a superb provisioning stop. Bedri Rahmi Bay has no facilities; carry food and water.
