Security deposit

The deposit is paid at the Sailway office when you embark, in cash or by credit card (Mastercard or Visa). Without the security deposit the boat cannot be delivered. The deposit is refunded after the boat has been checked for loss or damage on its return.

Deposit fee (optional)

If you pay a deposit fee of 15% of the deposit amount, the refundable security deposit is reduced to 35% of the total deposit.

The deposit fee does not cover damage to or loss of the dinghy, outboard motors, chains, anchors and windlasses. These must be reimbursed even if the cost is higher than the deposit.
